My fascination for the spiritual world has inspired my approach to photographic art. Feathers, with their obvious connection to birds symbolise flight and freedom, not just physically but also spiritually. They symbolise the ability to move above and beyond your limitations in all aspects of your life. They encourage you to see the bigger picture and understand what really matters in life.

My work depicts feathers gently falling, randomly. They have no control over how or where they fall. This is a metaphor for all of our lives. We are all pulled in different directions every day. How we respond makes us who we are.

I hope to provide the viewer with much thought-provoking material. The meaning of feathers will be different to each and every one of us. However, they always offer comfort, hope and encouragement. We just have to free our minds and hearts and we will understand.
